This week we’re digging deep into a beloved and essential film in the cycling movie canon: 1979’s “Breaking Away”, directed by Peter Yates and starring Dennis Christopher, Dennis Quaid and Daniel Stern. This beloved coming-of-age film arguably launched the careers of these at-the-time very young actors, and remains a touchstone classic in the landscape of cycling films and indeed sports films in general.
